Position: Senior Sales Executive

Selling automatic identification products, services and software to corporate customers. Products include wireless networks, data collection terminals, bar code scanners, Labels and label printers, Print and Apply and Continuous Ink Jet, Radio Frequency (RF) devices, and application software.


  • Expand VisuaScan’s business base by acquiring new customers.
  • Organize initial contacts, cold calls, and mailings.
  • Respond to Requests for Quotations.
  • Negotiate with new customers.
  • Manage new programs until they are in full operation.
  • Organize demo hardware for a new customer if necessary.
  • Follow up with established customers.


Post-secondary education, university degree or equivalent desired. A solid electronics or mechanical background is an asset but not required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.


  • Fluent English, oral and written.
  • Knowledge of the Information Technology industry, in particular bar coding, data collection, data bases, industrial radio frequency systems, networks.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Access to a car essential, as experience is gained, more extensive travel will occur.


  • Base salary + commissions.
  • Depends on qualifications.
